Corona virus is a crisis?
Worse than Influenza-A?
Don’t trust the bias news folk buy us
Cable news and old cliches!
This ain’t the plague, make no mistake
Except, for what “They” make of it
While congress fakes are on the take
And hide the crimes that they commit
They shot the wad on pork and fraud
To make us think they care for us
As we applaud the news facade
Of scofflaws who are treasonous!
The swamp exposed—our world explodes!
They’ve mobilized the whole deep-state!
Trump struck a nerve, must be deposed
Deplorables, all locked in place!
With faces straight they mock our fate
Distracting us from what is true
With toilet paper as the bait
As Marxists cheer on Sandy’s crew
The free world crushed as truth is hushed
Elites will never take a fall
In God we trust! They’re so corrupt
Too Late! We should have hung ‘em all!

Excellent internal rhyme and scheme. You've touched a several points here that are true. Elite to as far away as possible from everyone else trying to be untouchable. It's going to be interesting how every one will perceive things once this is over.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, representing New York's 14th district in congress, went my the name of "Sandy" until after she had graduated college; her close friends and family are still allowed to call her by that name, but she now prefers to use her given name in public.
While some folk consider this a disingenuous attempt to hide her upbringing as an upper-class American elite, I simply think she is trying to avoid the obvious comparison to Sandy on Sponge-Bob Square-Pants!
