This piece is perfection describing the disappointing, if not toxic, relationship of parents staying together for the sake of the children. It’s a wretched situation and you’ve really caught the emotional intelligence and awareness of the child. People can sense things no matter what age. This poem is spot on. Superbly written. H🌷

There is nothing more worse than staying in a relationship that brings you down instead of building you up giving you disappointed with stress and anxiety that isn't love or honor or respect that is not unconditional love and support as it is not meant to be..nicely composed dear poetess..respect
