Jaded Forest
Where reality blurs with dreams
I find myself distressed
Like a scattered star fallen in the dark
Its glittering pride softly fading
In this jaded forest
With quiet breezes echoing off each leaf
A deafening screech of silence
Indeed I’m lost...
But you see, I was never found
All I do is search
For answers I possibly only know
We differ like yin and yan
Water and earth
Fire and ice
So different
I cannot depend on you for my answers
I shall ponder in my own thoughts
Travel in my realm of what I believe
And hope to find the answer...
The answer to my questions
So tensely on my forehead
Somehow a deep-
Paradox
I find myself distressed
Like a scattered star fallen in the dark
Its glittering pride softly fading
In this jaded forest
With quiet breezes echoing off each leaf
A deafening screech of silence
Indeed I’m lost...
But you see, I was never found
All I do is search
For answers I possibly only know
We differ like yin and yan
Water and earth
Fire and ice
So different
I cannot depend on you for my answers
I shall ponder in my own thoughts
Travel in my realm of what I believe
And hope to find the answer...
The answer to my questions
So tensely on my forehead
Somehow a deep-
Paradox
