Shivering to Stay Warm

Great start Luna. Bringing the macrocosm into the microcosm, imbued with a sense of the intimate and vulnerable, your breath moving upon the waters. My favorite part is actually the aside formed by the parentheses. It lends to that sense of intimacy with the reader, I can see you leaning close, with a wry grin and perhaps a wink and all the nuances of emotion that holds. Your close is stark and poignant. Excellent proportion to the write. Unity, flow, sensitivity in the voice are palpable. You're an asset to the month's proceedings, I am sure. Write on and write well my friend.

Thank you, Ahavati!  I’m thoroughly enjoying the intentional spilling of this challenge.  It’s not easy to switch processes, but it’s opened my eyes a tiny bit to what is possible when you intend a thing.  I can’t wait to see how that progresses with the month.

I'm going to be weird by inquiring if there is perhaps a spiritual component to this wonderful NaPo offering? There's a numbed feeling I get as if the narrator is experiencing a bit of abandonment with whatever can be considered god-dish. A sort of "being left out in the cold" vibe.
