The Last Chance Lesson
This should be a time for Unity
For rebuilding the concept of community
For once we truly are all in this together
We are all clumped like birds of a feather
Unlike most people and most of all gods
This virus doesn't Judge it just marauds
It infects the high and mighty
The timid and the feisty
Muslims, Hindus and Christians
Those of other superstitions
Anyone can get this virus
This should be something to inspire us
To do much better as human beings
To rediscover our finer feelings
Relearning caring and kindness
Then Love and Light will surely find us
It is time for a reboot of humanity
It's time to get rid of all the insanity
This virus is a learning tool
If you don't get that, you're a fool
It's our final drink at the bar
Will humanity just be a memoir
What new paths you pursue
The choice is up to you

ALL of us aRe in this for the long haul, and hopefully, when this global crisis/tragedy begins to level off, humanity will choose to offer more kindness....caring...tolerance....and acceptance---towards, and for, one another! (For it could very well be our ultimate chance!
