how come the World is in such an ugly mess?
I mean 'sides the fact we been screwin' it up ever since we got here...?
What is it?
Jus' too many of us?
Perhaps God is perusing
the possibilities ...
for wiping us clean off
the face of the Earth…
...like complete annihilation…
starting anew...
Ya think?

Are we not due such a fate by our lack of acrtion, mercy, compassion and tolerance for our fellow beings?

I have toyed with the idea as well. Whether God is involved or not, I think we've at least partly brought this on ourselves. We are our own worst enemy; and in the end we will likely destroy ourselves. I mean, if we hadn't have been so intrusive on other animals habitats, we wouldn't have been exposed to half of the viruses that we've managed to encounter, including this new pandemic virus. We're killing off so many other species on this planet... I feel like Mother Nature is finally fighting back.
