Sometimes Suicide

Sometimes it's hard to see the light

To not be broken by life

To have the strength to raise your head 

And live in a world that feels cold and

dark

 

Sometimes it's hard to bear the pain

Locked deep down within

Dark thoughts torturing your soul 

There's no escaping that voice inside

saying your worthless and have nothing

to give

 

Sometimes you want to be no more

convinced you wont be missed for long

Any tears shed will quickly dry

you will soon be forgotten

 

Sometimes it helps to write a poem

To set your thoughts to ink and paper

express what cannot be spoken
