I think you might be a poet who takes her inspiration from the old classical poets. When I say classical I don't mean Shakespeare or Chaucer but maybe more recent than them. I'm no scholar or expert in English literature or poetry in general but after reading a few of your poems I keep picking up this style that comes through in how you put words together that feels like I am reading a poem from the past. This combination of modernity and earlier periods pays homage to those writers that were able to use the tools of the English language to craft poetry  that we are still able to enjoy to this day.
