WHERE IS FORGIVENESS?
WHERE IS FORGIVENESS?
My Lord, l'd sinned with her, and l confessed.
How can l know that she cofessed her sin?
I secured that l'd washed my dirt and gained
forgiveness but she did not wash her filth.
My Lord, l beg Your heart and kiss Your feet
to forgive her before You shrive my sins.
How can l push her into hell and l
feel content that my poor shrift is complete?
How can l think of self and forget her?
Can l attain the buoy and let her drown?
Regret can't be obtained through selfish steps.
Have pity on her first and then on me.

Re. WHERE IS FORGIVENESS?
"My Lord, l'd sinned with her, and l confessed.
How can l know that she cofessed [sic] her sin? "
You can know by asking her.
And FYI, the expression is "I washed my dirt from/off [something]". To say that one "washed his dirt" conveys the idea that you were hoping to make your dirt clean.

Which is more serious a sin, fornication (between two consenting adults) or murder?

Dear Baldwin,
Of course murder. But the other is also a sin that we should confess. Baldwin, you have wide knowledge, and l like you, and l wish to have you as a dear friend, but still l have my ways and ideas, and you have yours. We can be great help to each other.

Since Jesus forgave his murderers, your piece comes off as the self-centered wining of a prude.
And it is not written well.

It's not wining of a prude; it 's oversensitivity. But what is the relationship between Jesus' forgiveness to His murderers, and my piece?

If he forgave his murders without their asking for forgiveness, what have you to worry about for committing a lesser sin? BTW, was the "sin" consensual?

Your idea is really great. This must be the idea of a great believer. Are you a believer, Baldwin? Your idea gives great comfort. It shows the abundant generosity of our Lord, Christ.

This is a dodge of my question. And whether I am or am not a believer is irrelevant. The issue is what **you** believe if you claim that Jesus is Lord and whether you should have the guilty conscience you apparently have for having sex with someone, given your belief AND whether or not this melodramatic, "oh poor poorme" "look at how much pain I'm in" me pity piece is well written

What l write is not necessarily from real life, but l am a believer in Christ.
Re: Re. WHERE IS FORGIVENESS?
Yes, as you keep pounding us over the head in testifying to the point of boredom. But the "Christ" you believe in is the Christ of the Gnostics who tells his followers that the earth is an evil place and when we're "saved", we'll be rid of it, living eternally in some disincarnate state in someplace in the sky.
In any case, perhaps you'll pray to him to help you avoid poorly written melodrama and to make you a better writer.

Among the things for which Augustine prayed
stood Chastity up high within the set.
But know you, too,
that when he worded out his avid plea to God
about the time
he hoped this virtue might be given him,
he added a “not yet”.

Re. WHERE IS FORGIVENESS?
I sinned with her.
But I confess:
when she, with hunger,
worshiped me
with mouth and hands
and rising breasts
with all her body’s languid,
liquid heat
and said so breathlessly
“Oh, you’re the best!”,
within the climax of
that moment when time's arrow stopped
and then cried out “oh God!,
Oh God, yes, yes!”,
I was, I swear,
by heaven blessed!
