When I Pray Alone

When I pray alone
I lay down these blood and bones
And I’m made light.
I am light.

When we pray alone
We are light.

When I pray alone
I am not alone
A sort of coming home
To the light.
I am light.

When we pray alone
We are light.

When I pray alone
All of me is gone
And I feel so right at home
In the light.
I am light.

When we pray as one
We lay down these blood and bones
And are made light.
We are light.

When we pray as one
We are light.
