I can so relate to this, nikki. Nothing infuriates me more than someone deleting their work.  To me, it's like burning a history book without thought or care toward the next generation.

Wine, wot wine? Lol. There will soon be no wine I feel. Just having fun with ya, nikki. Call it irony or whatever.  
All I know is, I did not have the usual choice of beers to choose from this weekend but I am not complaining. I will fucking go without if I have to & if that means helping our stretched medical staff instead, in some way. I'd happily do that; It is no biggie for me! We are all very scared right now.  
 
What is your poem trying to say? My mind is in a daze at the moment but I'd love to hear how your poem came to be & what the influences behind it were.

Having read it again, I think what you're saying, from the way I perceive the read anyhow, is that before the pandemic, some of us may have been worrying about how our false eyelashes or makeup looked, trivial stuff & the women may have been worrying about what their men were getting up to!

 We all know now what is actually properly important & I believe your poem says that. :-)

Everyone wishes at the end that there was something more. Best last breath is to accept less
