Sunnyside
As the birds sing among the trees
A gentle southern breeze
Fills the air with the aroma of wisteria
My mind slips away
Way back beyond yesterday
Being consumed by daydreams
I dream about the ones that came before
And how their spirit lives here forever more
A legacy buried deep in red Georgia clay
No matter where I live or wherever I my roam
I will always call Sunnyside my home
A place of strength and hope with the spirit of the Cherokee Rose
A gentle southern breeze
Fills the air with the aroma of wisteria
My mind slips away
Way back beyond yesterday
Being consumed by daydreams
I dream about the ones that came before
And how their spirit lives here forever more
A legacy buried deep in red Georgia clay
No matter where I live or wherever I my roam
I will always call Sunnyside my home
A place of strength and hope with the spirit of the Cherokee Rose
