Thoughts, Wishes and Prayers

just shiny dusts
at the corner of thoughts
spiderwebs trapped memories
a lovely throwback
wishes as fragile as globes
of morning dew

then...long ago
waltzing on the hopes
of a shining time
loved and loving
life spent living
blooms perpetual on Eden

drowned in loving eyes
golden sun shining always
with mists in between
creating rainbows of trust
threads of belonging
unfettered yet uncleaved

time didn't stand still
love found, seized and broken
molecules of adventures
became a little tiresome
the bright sun shining through
were just pretty lights

picking random shards
of broken dreams
seeing flashes of desires
a few unimportant needs
a lot of unattainable wishes
some unanswered prayers

lips smile, a little sad
mostly sorry
for bad decisions made
random thoughts
of a dawn with no promises
but another day to live
