Loves Entitlement

Seed pearls hang,
on the edge of reality along
 with seeds of caraway
and coriander.

They drop,  to the deepest
 bottom where darkness is
 not known.
Submerged into seclusion,
as it skims wretchedness from
 the top, of yesterday's mistakes.

Coated with honey from
devil's claw, pressed together
into cakes for caged birds to
nibble their entire lives
 on false beliefs the seeds
provide.

Delicate patches of breathless
tides wash brittle ones ashore.
Bones gathered together then
wound with lute string of
ashen color tightly matching
silver oxide and the  hue
of somber rain

Bleached with the disappointment
of unconditional loves entitlement
long expired
