Racing, racing through the night,
Looking for refugee
Anywhere to take cover.
Let me in.
Cover my eyes and breathe me in,
Hold me tight,
Tell me everything
Will be Alright.
Running, running through the day.
Looking for freedom.
Anywhere to feel absorbed,
I wanna soak.
Let me wonder.
Help me fly,
Spread my wings
Please don’t cry.
Walking because I’m lost.
Nothing to run from,
Nothing to race to.
I’m alone and that is something I fear.
