Sundae Communion

Jealousy & insecurities will lead to the demise of us

We can't successfully be if we don't have any trust

That's a must in order for us to have longevity

Instead of a bust with short lived love brevity

 

Surely you must see that this is truly a fact

Even with transparency, trust in me you lack

I haven't back tracked on anything I've ever said

But like a Taurus bull you continually see blood red

 

Charging full steam ahead & I'm fed up with it

I'm tired of repeatedly going through this shit

I get that you've been cheated on but so have I

And from day one, to you, I have never lied

 

I'm not those other guys who've done you wrong

I feel like a broken record repeating the same song

Either we move along or we decide to stay together

But I can't keep on getting hit with emotional leather

 

I've weathered all that I can take, so it needs to stop

Unless you want this relationship to end up as a flop

Thoughts of infidelity can't constantly be on your mind

I'm focused on grinding not on eyeing other's behinds  

 

All of that is behind me in a previously checkered past

You don't have to worry about me chasing after ass

It's time to get past this so we won't miss out on a blissful union
