Library love

Library love
You just walked by,
 Tall dark and handsome.
 A student or a teacher
Either way I’d like to meet ya.

 I continue to read
Waiting for you to notice me .
 Maybe if you’d like
I’ll read you some poetry.

You seem curious,
 But at ease.
A creature in its habitat
Feeling like you can easily breathe.

You  finally walk past
Should I make a move at last
No,  I watch  as you tease.

Glancing over with purpose you look
I look, smile and squirm
 You noticed me first,
But waited, even contemplated.
Patient admirer.

 I decide to walk over,
I brush your shoulder
A library fantasy crosses my mind,
I hope your not shy.

 Sitting back down,
I notice a number
On the ground.
You came to play.
That  library roulette.

 It’s not a phone number,
 But the Dewey Decimal.
 A sapiosexual guy
What a true find.

A game of cat and mouse
Of words and chess moves,
I’m ready to play
Think you’re ready too?
