Rain Pt.2

It was said there would be sun but all that came was rain.
They said I was normal but yet I feel very insane.
The clouds rumbled words I really could not understand.
Those clouds screamed with lightning, it’s out of hand.

The storm had passed almost as quick as it came.
Now a half sun shined day with that warm summer rain.
Looking back over the destruction so much battered.
And still in my head those skeletons and chains clatter.

Once my tears dried the sun gave way to the cooler night.
Have another drink, write some poetry, it's all right.
Wonder how to control my temper this summer is hot.
Sometimes being alone in that rain hits the spot.
