MY SHOULDERS YOU SHALL LAY

From the whispers of silent words spoken from your mother's lips to my ears, I was told of a lovely gift coming into the future of our lives, as that gift would be you a child someone more precious than gold.
For as you grow within your mothers womb with love and care, as the weeks turns into months I lay sometimes here next to your mother and rub her stomach, just to feel you there moving as I touch her skin of flesh to feel you kick and stir just from my touch of my hands.
For even with each memory as the days and months pass by till the day of your arrival into life, we continue to share loving and careing moments together as man and woman for these will be great memories of you our child.
But yet as the thoughts flows so gently through my mind, there is so much that I want to teach you about life like the good, the bad and ugly side of what is truly called life.                                                                                         For I know as your father as your mother would agree we wont always be there to protect you from the elements of this world, but as your father I can teach you how to survive in a world, that can sometimes become so ice cold and uncaring so unfeeling even to the human touch of kindness.
For I want you to be able to think for thyself, as a young girl or young boy who will oneday grow into a grown woman and grown man.                       For your will make mistakes along the way as this is apart of life, but I want you to understand each lesson as they will be encounters of different kinds that you must go through within this life, but yet the most important thing to remember that we as your parents will always love you as our child that we bought into this world called life.
