-Yawn- stretched arms, nothing like a good day's sleep.
Still in the dream fog rubbing my eyes so I can see.
Well seems pretty quiet now, I'm sure there plenty drunk.
Gazing to my pen and poets desk my mind sunk.

What the fuck was that? That for sure was no daydream.
Keep the Pjs on? I suppose. That dress though, made for a queen.
Hand on chest, a gasp for air, falling slowly back into bed.
Giggling I say paint the roses red and off with their heads.

-Sigh- Life’s not that bad I suppose. A glance to the mirror.
The reflection silently argued making it very clear.
Yes life fucking sucks! And what about that damn date!?
Calm down, self talk, keep cool make no mistakes.

Food was in order and I nearly flew down those stairs.
Hi mom, hi dad, they both glace with the least of cares.
A smokey grumble comes past my father's numb lips.
Something of mumble before he takes another sip.

Ok you too dad! You superhero you! And you… Mother.
Disturbing to know my existence is because he fucked her.
Hello mind! If you don’t mind I’m trying to find some food here.

Sandwich and juice in hand I think I’ll venture for a bit outside.
Door opens and I hear dramatic tears from my mom inside.
I took a couple seconds to really stare at those stars that night.
-Sigh- Let’s go in and check on mom to make sure she's all right.

What's wrong? I didn’t hide the fact that I was displeased.
I thought you were running away, far away from me.
