Personality Jumped to Warp

Been told I was a pleaser
Guilty of spontaneous stand up  
comedy on multiple occasions  
 
Not afraid to be the village idiot
if also a celebrated court jester  
 
Got used to laughing  
with my mockers  
but I'm trying to bring  
it into balance  
 
Still loving the improv
in a flying squirrel suit
 
...as long as I don't  
lose face into granite
stone reactions
 
I need to have
belonging here
and I feel the mercy
 
But I could do with less impulse  
or warped space-time
