Arrogant King

A King who sits upon his throne
believing  all the power he holds.
Is one stupid  King,
Naive, underestimating the Queen.

The smarmy expressions,
distasteful words
Designed to stun and disempower
What a fool, arrogance will be his demise.

Believing into a trapped he walked
Denying his iron fist rule
Laughing while vile he talked
Unaccepting, he's just plain cruel

Devious plan  to retain his throne
Learnt his opponants weakness
Cockiness, however, prevented a  plan  review
Guess what, Fool, she's onto you!

The day he granted himself  permission
to remove her queenly stature.
Was the day SHE decided
To take back the crown, once adorning her head.

The kingdoms support she gained
Stealthy waging war
Not on the battlefront
But right under the Kings nose

The victory cry belonged to Her Magisty    The King, finally dethroned,
carried out through necessity
Too arrogant to ask her why.

The answer..
Respect is earned
Trust built over time
Words, more power than a gun
Freedom a right
for each and every one!!!
