Guilt  
Shame  
Questions  
Why Me?
 
Why was I choosen  
Maybe not a choice?  
Possibly fate?  
An unchangable force  
 
Circumstances out of my contol  
Are testing my limits  
Lost in a haze  
My strength, wavering  
 
Stolen....  
Without my concent  
My insides torn out  
Left behind... Emptyness  
 
Unaware, it was being taken  
Until it was too late  
My life...  
Forever reshaped  
 
Once bright and bubbly  
Known as the social butterfly  
Whose wings became soiled  
Rendering it unable to fly  
 
Scared  
Alone  
Confused  
Irreparably tramsformed  
 
Safety no longer assured  
Jumping at my own shadow  
Decisions a thing of the past  
The new world frightening and vast  
 
Tears fall  
What defined me  
Disappeared  
In the blink of an eye  
 
Healing not guatenteed  
My old self may never return  
Who am I, what defines me now?
