I am a Dreamer
I am a dreamer dreaming impossible dreams,
A struggling starving poet who is lost in the thought,
Wishing for wishes which washed away in the streams
Of a subconscious awareness I always sought.
I’m a writer, a fighter, a verse catching fire,
Burning as the words try to explode out of my head,
With passion and ardor I push to be harder,
So the words will live forever after I’m dead.
