From  that dust

Painted lips of terracotta red
Cuban heels; in steccato tramp
that flamethrower of intent
together lit within the dance

The latin speeks but not in Greek
 plectrum's thrash across the strings
the arrogance of latent heat
each florish finished with a zing

The skirt, split up to the thigh
stalking horse that careers wild
and see that tempo pacify
passion's light, each cornea wide

Hold that gaze, burn laser deep
amour set, but which will yield
haughtiness, that context needs
and from dust, the dance revealed

Will you flourish castanets
hold that rose between clenched teeth
with vivacity in life express
rhythm, the stamp so inborn beats

The stallion and mare, let off the leash
to cavort and paw when freedom's sensed
will you join with joyful feet
 a flamboyancy that scream's -- not reticence
