Warrior of Love
Love is not real. This I quickly learned.
And whoever says it first is the one who gets burned.
Trust is easily broken, but when it's quickly fixed,
I can still run around turning all kinds of tricks.
Emotions are useless; don't let me see you cry.
Cause then I'll convince you to drop that other guy.
I've trained to be a warrior, and I'll accept defeat never,
But I speak the truth when I say we wont make it til forever.
I'll tell you that we can, and I'm sure that you'll believe me.
But I'll mess up on purpose so things don't get too easy.
I'll be in the wrong, but I'll convince you it's your fault.
Then you'll apologize for making everything fall apart.
I'll redefine truth; I know how to make the unreal speak no lies.
This is the kind of truth that no man ever defies.
We are all warriors, but I still plan to succeed.
You can cut me with sharp looks, but you still can't make me bleed.
Cause you'll take my lies,
And yes, you'll cry,
But then I'll pretend to care why.
So in your mind you'll build me up and give me another try.
I'll be perfect until you decide to let me back in,
but when you do, that's when it starts; let the games begin.
Lust is my motive, and a four-letter word,
But I'll replace it with love as I define my sword.
I'll use "love" to cut down all of those walls,
And I'll wait patiently for you and them to fall.
But when they do, you wont build them back up.
It's called inception; I made you believe in US.
