Inclination
Here we go again
Too many choices to better this
You choose the one that ends
In watching our path split
You challenge me,
but my pride gets the best of me
I can't seem to find a room big enough
To let my ego sit comfortably
Is it you? Is it me?
Is the fact I'm wired so differently?
I try to center myself but it's so hard
When the world is spinning faster today
Than it was yesterday
You pander for an audience
And then question why?
when complimented
It's a twisted case of the opposites
Bitter sweet and obvious
Too many choices to better this
You choose the one that ends
In watching our path split
You challenge me,
but my pride gets the best of me
I can't seem to find a room big enough
To let my ego sit comfortably
Is it you? Is it me?
Is the fact I'm wired so differently?
I try to center myself but it's so hard
When the world is spinning faster today
Than it was yesterday
You pander for an audience
And then question why?
when complimented
It's a twisted case of the opposites
Bitter sweet and obvious
