Rooftop conversations

Under the moonlit sky
the air punctuates the night.
On a tiny corner of the roof we set our stage.
The stars as our audience,
As dialogues pass through our lives
the deeper our soul dives.

Quarter of a million lives walking around us,
but aren't you just a sight for sore eyes.
Thousands of cars that drive by
I seem to float with you on the same sky.
With all these soaring planes up above,
It goes with how high someones reaches when in love.

Right here is what we own,
Our time we spent until the dawn.
Five storey above the ground,
where both our hearts are safe and sound.
No matter how far,
Home is wherever you are.
