It cannot be done

Dear D,
So true and so interesting your subject matter. It’s always such a gut wrenching shock to find out a non-truth, like Santa Claus. You’re lead to believe this jolly old fat man brings me gifts once a year for being good and then you reach your 20’s or 30’s and all of sudden you’re told he’s not real but a spirit and it’s actually your parents. It’s a terrible shock ;-)
Your poem makes the point of this in a much more sophisticated and elegant manner! Excellent write. H🌷
