Sense the tension
sticking around
in the background,
taking over,
overriding ordinary operational abilities.

Avoiding insanity is impossible
as is isolation at times so intense,
immensely suffocating..

relocated in self
to recover the wealth
within again,
to resuscitate
my alienated ego and aura
too used to being rendered useless
due to self abuse and
untreated trauma
taken on tumultuously..

I've underestimated
the urge to unleash
and release from this unusual role
In reality I too readily accepted without
anticipating this eventual shedding of
dead spirit and radical rebirth.
