Concrete tear
Love I haven't felt
As hours turn into days
Into months
Into years
It just past me by
The hurt
The pain
Take away my breath
I love you enough that i hate you
You never cared for us
You betrayed us
Broke vows before God
In your eyes you thought you were God
In my eyes you were nothing
The pain you gave hurt me forever
I will never feel the same about a man
So today I will Stand

Wow! I love how I was able to connect with each stanza knowing that there was love and it lead to betrayal. I like how you showed that time passed by in this relationship instead of telling us. Everything was connected from beginning to end. Beautiful.
