R.I.P. Tyler 2006-2020
Good morning everyone.
Today is the 44th sunrise of 2020.
Yesterday, my friends Kristina, Thomas, their family and friends, said their final goodbyes to their son Tyler who passed away last week after his battle with cancer at 14 years old.
Tyler was always Tyler.
He was given the nickname Tyler the smiler because you never saw him without a smile on his face.
He was always comfortable in his own skin, even knowing what he was dealing with.
He always knew his life would be shorter than most and yet, he always stayed true to himself.
You have always been you.
But your perception of who you are may have changed when you decided to let the people or the world or circumstances, that were, at times, beyond your control, dictate who you would be.
Somehow, you got lost.
You got buried and that version of you, struggled to see itself, because someone or something took your truth and replaced it with lies.
I hope, just like Tyler, you will once again learn just how remarkable you are.
I hope, just like Tyler, that you will remember just how amazing you already are.
I hope, just like Tyler, that you will not allow the world or circumstances tell you who you should be and realize, who you have always been.
I hope, just like Tyler, you can know and accept your truth.
I hope, just like Tyler, you can be your reason to once again, walk back to your shore.
Tyler, this sunrise is for you buddy.
You will be missed by more people than you could have ever known.
Iíll see you later............
