Frozen
I have searched high and low
For someone to give my mind an uplift, a soft tow
I read someone’s encouraging post today
Words that fitted what my heart could no longer say
The imagery played so beautifully in my mind
When such narratives were my only heart’s design
The essence of my mind I bled time after time
Now, I’m looking just to stay afloat, to swim
After the enthralling lights have diminished, the passion has dimmed
No cure but to keep writing, believing
I have kissed my thoughts, even called upon my handsome dream weaver
The spark is gradually returning
The lust, passion, and the emotions of my credence I’m slowly earning
I do write, serenade, please don’t get me wrong
Yes, to the ears of another passionate morning song
Trying to find an illuminating spark where my heart truly belongs
Words to make my heart sing loudly
As it echoes in the wind heard so proudly
How do you keep the lyrics playing
Keep the melodies from fading
Does the crescendo ever last
Like the sands of time, it empties way too fast
Can you completely submerge your thoughts when the mentality process feels likes a ton
Yet, refusing to lose your way when all is said and done
Fighting the nakedness of the mind until you’ve won
How do you not run out of new words to say
When already spoken sentiments have left the lips and has sailed away

I love the reference to “How Do Keep The Music Playing”. Hard to go wrong with James Ingram, Patti Austin, and Quincy Jones.

This is one of your greatest poetical works yet my love. It shows what I believe many here ignore. That you are a great and complete poetess. You can write anything and give it depth. I've known you as the Queen of erotica since you first started writing on DUP. I've followed your claim to the top and I knew you were an experienced novelist and writer with class and grace. But I have seen your greatness, which many ignore, in writing about pain and emotions ; real life. Erotica comes and goes as moments change in our lives, but the beauty of your lyrics is a masterpiece in its own right and I believe that those that read and follow the you as a total artist, be it the sensual sphere or beyond, appreciate your great capabilities in sending everyone on a trip for more. If this is how you write when you have a block, what happens when you don't. This is excellent. And know that your love has been noted in every word. Beautiful my love 😘❤️
