Suspect

I suspect I'm a suspect when I walk down the aisle
With cameras fixed on me, how can I not smile
I shouldn't feel like this; I know I'm not a thief
Profiling does exist, so I must display my teeth

Underneath my pearly whites, there's pain at the roots
It hurts to keep cheesin', that's the GODs honest truth
But what else can I do to get you to trust me
I spend money with you and do it frequently

It's 2020 and I honestly feel like public enemy #1
Always caught in the crosshairs of somebody's gun
Somedays I want to run instead of raising up my fist
Before being falsely accused then told not to resist
