Image for the poem I can see

I can see

My eyes are wide open to the world
Im what they call the traveling girl
Some see me as green
because I have questions galore
Some see me as curious
Im Always finding an open door
I don't accept everything
There are somethings
That's tolerated
I live in this world
even tho I hate it
I allow a lot
because imperfection
Surrounds me
Don't need to open my eyes
They were never close
I already know what I know
if you say what it is
Then that's what it be
And if you say what it ain't
And its not what I see
Trust and believe its embedded in me
Respect and trust is truly earned
I saw many loose at their turn
So I sit and watch the skies
For they will darken soon
Sitting patiently waiting
for that poetic moon
Hoping Im in good standards
as I hold fast to life
Im no ones lover
Just someones wife
Reality is sometimes a harsh pill to swallow
But my heart condition
is far from hollow
Im just going to keep walking
until I see
The moment he truly
calls for me.
Don't Judge me cause
I don't have dreams
of a heavenly gate
But to live here on earth
And Hope its not too late.

Author's Note
I just like staying in my Reality
This poem reminds me of what's real to me and in front of my eyes and doesn't make me blind to what other ppl want me to see or believe.
