Which way is the moon?

Will you point me in the direction of the moon?
Will you hold my hand while we walk bare feet
on an old dirt road?
Will you dance with me in the rain?
Will you give me advice, good or bad?
Will you listen to me, will you understand?
Will you sit next to me in the shower?
Naked on our butts, just enjoying your company.
Will you listen to my voice when I sing?
Will you sing with me to our own tune?
Will you write me a letter? With pen, by hand,
just because you can?
Will you read my poetry? Will you read it out loud?
Will you cook with me?
And throw flour in my hair for the joke of it?
Will you show me in the moon’s direction?
I want to ask if I can have my heart back...
