Ol’ Vampire

Ol’ Vampire

Her soft skin was hardened that night
She didn’t even know she was to put up a proper fight
Because of that exciteful smile after her first bite
She was ruined on purposeful spite

Disassociated from her former friends unwillingly
With suicidal thoughts, they called her out on disloyalty
She turned to substance abuse to numb the uncertainty
Her heart cries each Sunday when she sees him preaching unity

Ol’ Vampire

He thought his adult friend was, di general
Until after his wife’s untimely funeral
Drugged at the repass while discussing supratemporal
Unknowingly he was messed up from interfemoral

He never became intimate as a result
Sexual interest declined and never regained
Branded for speaking against his attacker
His anger boils continuously forever

Ol Vampire

Be careful how yuh trample upon God’s creation
Curb your bloody meditation
Against the younger generation
Don’t destroy their upfullness with your agnation

How do we protect the youngsters,
From these incurable and undesirable abusive funsters?
Dem a nuttin but old vampire
Dem nuh like to see youths prosper
