No Space for You

I would write poems about you
But you do not even have space
When the night sky is dark blue
And I am alone again. Your face
Is something within the distance
That I remember but it has faded
Away weeks ago. Your existence
In my life is gone. Yes, life is jaded
And so is love but it does not give
You a right to walk away like what
I gave you did not matter. Forgive
Me for being harsh but in a flat
World I am the realest anyone is
Going to be. I am the closest thing
You find to peace and to who says
The truth. When you toss and fling
Me aside just remember that I was
There no questions asked. We are
In a generation of this ghosting and
Blocking, no explanation. The scar
Is hurting, but so does the hand
That used to hold me and the heart
That used to heal me for the better.
Life is way easier with the fresh start
You envisioned, away from wetter
And bitter goodbyes you did not see
Coming. My goodness, if I can only
See how you would come to see me
And them now. Nights feel lonely
But you were the one to choose life
That way. Take the world in strife.
