See Her
She was drowning
But nobody could see it
She was drowning
In the expectation
Of who she should be
She was drowning
From all the expectations
Of how a woman should be
She was drowning
And nobody could see it
She was drowning
And sinking even deeper
Into her own depression
That even she couldn't see
She was drowning
Even though she was smiling
She was falling
Deeper and Deeper
Into the ocean of regret
Slowly sinking
Slowly losing her own life
With nothing to hold onto
She was drowning
But all that people
Could see was her beauty
All that people wanted to see
Was her servitude
Never paying attention
To her changing attitude
She was drowning
And nobody could see it
Nobody wanted to see it
Her body was too heavy
Nobody noticed
Until she became food
For the sharks
Then it was too late
And she was gone
Gone from this world
In which nobody
Noticed her
But nobody could see it
She was drowning
In the expectation
Of who she should be
She was drowning
From all the expectations
Of how a woman should be
She was drowning
And nobody could see it
She was drowning
And sinking even deeper
Into her own depression
That even she couldn't see
She was drowning
Even though she was smiling
She was falling
Deeper and Deeper
Into the ocean of regret
Slowly sinking
Slowly losing her own life
With nothing to hold onto
She was drowning
But all that people
Could see was her beauty
All that people wanted to see
Was her servitude
Never paying attention
To her changing attitude
She was drowning
And nobody could see it
Nobody wanted to see it
Her body was too heavy
Nobody noticed
Until she became food
For the sharks
Then it was too late
And she was gone
Gone from this world
In which nobody
Noticed her
