White Lies

From this moment forward, until I'm able to discover otherwise
In my mind, everything that I was ever taught is full of white lies
Disguised as truth then given to youth to begin assimilation
The more I learn, the less I discern; building my frustration

The equations aren't adding up to the stuff I thought I knew
Now I'm questioning everything that I used to perceive as true
What's one to do when engulfed by and drowning in deception?
Seek out the torch bearers to see clearer; then reassess the calculation
