Simple Legacy

love
fundamental relationship
extended outward indefinitely

if it can extend to one
then it can extend to a hundred
a million a billion a trillion

let others do as they will
unless there is compelling
reason not to

observation
appreciation
non-intervention

my life is my own
as is
my legacy

simple
straightforward
no codicils no amendments

my legacy
leave the world
a better place

what is yours

Author's Note
Thoughts triggered by a quote by Lazarus Long, a character in novels by Robert A. Heinlein:
The more you love, the more you can love—and the more intensely you love. Nor is there any limit on how many you can love. If a person had time enough, he could love all of that majority who are decent and just.
- Robert Heinlein, Excerpts from the Notebooks of Lazarus Long, "Time Enough For Love"
