Feet follow the way to heaven
I pace the holy path
suspended on bridge
each footstep a sacred journey

The Pacific Ocean a palette of blue
San Francisco bay an azure Mediterranean dream
with boats churning froth
in dizzying cosmic panorama

plays in my mind

My place in the cosmos
a pearl of consciousness
absorbing atoms strung together
in sea and sky

I am perched on the ladder of evolution
like a frog on a lily pad
suspended over cold water
I reach the other side
Marin County welcomes pedestrian
I mind surf on Vangelis melody
a thousand stars blossom
in my belly
