Fingerprints on Flesh

Parts of you bleeding out
of my pores, soaking red
the paper where I write things
about you I don't want to forget.

Your stare dragging me by
my eyes, disentangling your
fist from my hair, removing fingerprints from my flesh
is what I want to remember.

The scars remain the ones
shaped like you when you
Through the curtains of bare
naked showers where I wash
off your disengenuine smile
from my lips

I feel you lapping at the dew
of transparent eyesight
Of bodies rising then falling
 as tailbone hits the bedframe.

The paperbag that rest with
cold Chinese leaked into
mohagany wood perhaps we
can savor the flavor when
we awaken to find this love
 is dead

I refuse to believe it's death
could come so soon
I believe it never existed
Confusion whether the flowers
yanked were pink or not
Unanswered whispers through
wilted lust
Enticing hard nipples to believe
 in love
It's just a mine put on by the
beast within who craves to
devour you.
Who will say anything to feel
like we did
 one more time
