When You Found Me

I loved a mother who stole me
A father who forgot me
A brother who abhored me
When you found me
A hollow diary

The world was so scary
A depth seethed deeply
Grew strong in weary
Soliloquy
An arsenal with no query
Seeing all
But not clearly

When you found me

I believed
In nothing but light
Death was a lonely plight
A truth
I refused in sight
Whispering in night
Please
Don't be right

Until you

Found me
And showed me strength
No
Gave birth to me in length

Intangible
Made of all who wept
Who took a path
That I had left

And so now where I stand
It is for them

And I in you
Have found naked truth
So I bid my old view
A grievous adeau
Burning ash to birth few

Hope takes as it makes us anew
Cinicism
A word
That is forsaken, too.
