GIFTS AND WORK
You exist in life to cope with
certain duties which can differ
among men who get their talents
from the Lord Who rules all creatures.
Talents are endowed to people.
They are distinguished in measures.
When you use your utmost talents,
you will relish greatest pleasure.
Great is life when you get lofty
on the throne you've built to tower
high above what people can do
but do not forget your Giver.

Is "endowed to" good English?
And how do you scan this line:
They are distinguished in measures.
If, as seems most natural, it is
THEY are dis TING [w]ished in MEASures, it's hardly flowing in rhythm.
More importantly, what's the purpose behind this piece.?

I'm also wondering if you realize that when you say
You exist in life to cope with
certain duties which can differ
between men who get their talents
from the Lord Who rules all creatures.
That you strongly imply that men who do not get their talent from the Lord who rules all creatures do not need to cope with any duties. And is it really true that the duties that men (not women?) have come only from the Lord who rules all creatures (Zeus?) .
More importantly, are you really intent to say that the primary reason I exist is to cope with the duties imposed upon men other than myself? That's the claim that you make in your first stanza.
