eyes at first �
i � queried � love �
emptiness profound �
saw �we �not �eye �to �eye �
then her luscious lips enticed �
with kisses hiding sharpened teeth �
my �m e t a p h y s i c a l � d e f e a t �
came �a m a z i n g l y �high-priced �
c o n s c i e n c e �to �g r a t i f y �
now �my �soul �rebounds �
for �love �thereof �
uncoerced �
