The Sonnet of Our Sex

Your rain dr¡ps down my thighs from last night's storm
like menstrual overflowing sacred blood
your Mjölnir hammers hard against my bones
and fills my stomach with your thunderbolts
a gathering of swirling cyclones spun
as swollen lips weep dew along my tongue
of granite, how you carve me new each day
my shattering foundations where we lay
how summer lakes that swell and burst their strands
so broad and full colliding in my sands
we rest upon the water's edge in ease
and beckon forth our tides as we may please
we hold our elements within our palms
and whisper secrets through our flesh in psalms
