Silhouette

A green wave of glance
gently gathers near the sun
eclipsed by moon
I stare and I wait
as prisms pull dark from gloom

I am half light
opalescent
pinned in your sky

you are breath
dancing ever quitely in the bush
drifting, gliding
ever close
attending and affable
adorning
the gift of life

a first moment's mystery
freedom, flight, fancyfree
barefoot on the back porch
sipping tea
made from your sun

no sugar for me

for I have kissed the wind
and she tastes of you
confidence and strength
sultry but refined

behind the shade stands a single silhouette
in the morning there shall be two
