Forgiveness

She leads upstairs to her room
Dimly lit
Smoke burns my eyes
Ashtray overflowing
Clothes blanket the floor
We share a cigarette
She cries for me
Her tears are my cocaine
She undresses for me
Her nakedness is my endowment
She waits for me
Her breath is solitary
She screams for me
Her sound is impassioned
She bleeds for me
Her pain is celestial
She aches for me
Her body is airing
I leave the front door
Glance up to her window
The swaying is comforting
She forgives me
Her peace is warming
