I watch the warmth of full seduction
Crave such a connection so complete
Two poets with head and heart connected
no deceit is even remotely detected
Evidence of synergy found in a shared write
the vestiges of desire’s consensual delight
As his serenade takes her breath away
with shards of my heart I can do no more then turn away

I was looking for deceit in the actions of the competing suitor. It hit me that his behavior was much like my own.
